Here's a very sleepy-looking Mark Hildreth holding one of our prints of his character. (On the table immediately off-camera was a big mug of coffee.) More often you'll catch him sporting shades and a baseball cap we could just as easily see Heero wearing. Mark does a lot of television acting, and he's a pretty cool guy...just don't ask him about "1+2", yaoi tends to wierd him out. Go easy on him, ladies, and maybe give him some Pocky to wash down with that coffee.

As promised, it's the original Japanese voice of Heero, Hikaru Midorikawa, at a rare North American appearance at AnimeNorth 2003. Hikaru-san said he remembered watching the original Mobile Suit Gundam as a kid, so when he got the role of Heero he was ecstatic because it meant a chance to participate in the continuation of a cartoon phenomenon he enjoyed in his childhood. Way cool.
